Recent Acquisitions

On November 19, three acquisitions were donated to the Delaware & Hudson Transportation Collection of the Carbondale Historical Society. Shown both on the home page and on Facebook, these items are of a unique nature and are anachronims worth examining.

Specifically, the D&H pail was donated to the Society in memory of Philip A. Mark (Simpson, PA) by Debbie Mark Brown (Clarks Summit, PA).

The Fire Extinguisher and the D&H lock were both donated to the society by Ron Konosky (of Ronald's Yesterday and Today Antiques, Main Street Carbondale).

We are very pleased to have these rare artifacts now in our permanent collection.
